Bruce Mathews
Chief Information Officer
Bruce Mathews is the Chief Information Officer at Qnity, where he leads a team of business co-innovators dedicated to leveraging digital technology and data to drive growth, foster collaboration, enhance productivity, and safeguard information assets.
Before joining Qnity, Bruce held several prominent leadership positions, including chief information officer at Acuity Brands and Resideo—a Honeywell spinoff. During his nearly twenty years at Honeywell, he managed numerous large-scale, global transformation and optimization initiatives.
Bruce holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems, Economics, and Marketing from the University of Natal, as well as a master’s degree in information and Knowledge Strategy from Columbia University in New York. Additionally, he served as a commissioned officer in the South African military.
