Chuck Xu

Prior to this role, Chuck held roles of increasing importance at DuPont for more than 20 years, including vice president and general manager of DuPont’s Interconnect Solutions business in the Electronics & Industrial (E&I) segment. He also served as vice president and general manager of strategy and mergers and acquisitions in DuPont’s E&I segment, where he led the strategic expansion of the E&I business through the Laird Performance Materials acquisition and the Spectrum Plastics Group acquisition. Prior to that, Chuck was succeeding vice president and general manager of DuPont’s Non-Core segment and Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials business, where he managed a portfolio of key enabling materials solutions for solar energy, consumer electronics, and industrial segments. Before joining DuPont, Chuck was the executive director of Telephotonics, a telecom startup company, where he successfully led its commercial transformation and acquisition by DuPont in 2002. Earlier in his career, he held technology and program management roles at Honeywell.  

Chuck has served on the board of Michelman Inc. since 2021 and served as a director of Jinchen Holdings, Ltd. from 2017 to 2023. Chuck earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University, M.B.A. from Columbia University, and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Southern California.
