Peter Hennessey
General Counsel
Peter Hennessey is General Counsel for Qnity, where he oversees legal affairs, including corporate governance and transactions, ethics and compliance, litigation, contracts and intellectual property. He also manages the company’s government affairs function.
Prior to this role, Peter served as vice president, associate general counsel and corporate secretary of DuPont since joining the company in 2019. Before joining DuPont, he was a partner at Ballard Spahr LLP. Earlier in his career, Peter was an associate attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Peter earned his B.A. from Amherst College and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
