HSINCHU, Taiwan, Jan. 26 , 2026 – Qnity Electronics, Inc. (“Qnity”) (NYSE: Q), a premier technology solutions leader across the semiconductor value chain, received the Outstanding Low-Carbon Supplier Award from Winbond Electronics Corporation (“Winbond”), a semiconductor manufacturer in Taiwan.

The award recognizes Qnity’s role in advancing Winbond’s Low-Carbon and Smart Transformation Project, launched in 2023 with support from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and 13 companies across the semiconductor supply chain. The initiative set a goal to reduce 5,600 metric tons of CO₂e within two years, and Winbond reported that the project  surpassed the original target by 240%, achieving a total reduction of 19,995 tons in that time.

At the Qnity Asia CMP Center in Jhunan, Taiwan, Qnity implemented a series of impactful measures, including installing high-efficiency permanent magnet motor pumps, deploying advanced energy and carbon tracking systems, and performing comprehensive chiller system maintenance to maximize operational efficiency. These actions delivered energy savings and measurable carbon reductions, reinforcing Qnity’s ongoing commitment to help customers meet their sustainability goals.
