Qnity to Feature Advanced CMP and Post-CMP Innovations at the 2025 International Conference on Planarization/CMP Technology

WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 27, 2025 – Qnity, DuPont’s Electronics business, a premier technology solutions leader across the semiconductor value chain, today announced that it will participate in the International Conference on Planarization/CMP Technology (ICPT) in Hong Kong, Oct. 29 – Nov. 1.

Following DuPont’s intended spin-off of its electronics business targeted for Nov. 1, 20251, Qnity Electronics, Inc. (“Qnity”) is expected to be one of the largest and broadest publicly traded, global solutions providers for the semiconductor value chain.

At ICPT, Qnity will showcase a variety of solutions for chemical mechanical planarization (CMP), including CMP slurries, pads, and post-CMP cleans. A key highlight will be the newly launched Emblem™ CMP pad platform, a breakthrough technology for advanced nodes,  offering step-out CMP performance and enhanced customization. Qnity’s technical experts will also share insights on how machine learning, integrated slurry/cleans strategies and advanced wafer surface conditioning are shaping the future of post-CMP processes. In addition, Dennis Chen, Asia Pacific President-elect, Qnity, will deliver remarks at the conference Welcome Reception on Oct. 30.

“Growth in advanced computing and AI continues to drive demand for faster, more powerful, reliable, and energy-efficient semiconductor chips,” said Sang Ho Kang, President-elect, Semiconductor Technologies, Qnity. “Qnity collaborates across the semiconductor value chain to enable these technology roadmaps, and our advanced CMP and post-CMP materials deliver the precision and consistency customers rely on to make tomorrow’s technologies possible.”

As the semiconductor industry advances toward smaller devices and increasingly complex architectures, manufacturers face challenges in achieving precise defect control, exceptional surface flatness and cleanliness as well as enhanced performance and reliability. Qnity’s CMP and post-CMP offerings help fabricators meet these demands, while improving process efficiency and yield through next-generation CMP slurry and pad systems, and delivering consistent cleans performance without compromising device integrity.

Attendees at ICPT 2025 are encouraged to visit Qnity at booth #13 and attend technical sessions to learn more about Qnity and explore its CMP and post-CMP innovations.
